After Action Report:Nice work taking out the enemy guns on both Breakneck and Kilay ridges. The group shot down 12+ enemy aircraft.
Intelligence:Good Afternoon Gentlemen ... our tasking for today are multiple targets.
Submarine reports state that 2x Maru type transports are trying to sneak into Ormoc Bay, also there are numerous enemy vehicle supply convoys moving along the road in grid BU-29, pad 5, area. The enemy port at Ormoc Bay has received more equipment and troops during the night to be used against our troops.
We've also been tasked to hit the enemy's large caliber artillery guns on Hill 918, grid BU-30, pad 3. These guns need to be destroyed as they cover the north-south road to Ormoc Bay, as well as, the bay itself. The guns are supported by AAA on the hill and Ormoc Bay is also covered with AAA.
This area is also protected by regular enemy air patrols.
The Mission:We are hitting the ships, guns, and Ormoc Bay.
1st Squad (P-38) - Arm with bombs and rockets. Hit the Maru transports attempting to reach Ormoc Bay. Also look for the enemy vehicle supply convoys in grid BU-29, pad 5, area.
2nd Squad (P-38) - Arm with bombs and rockets. Strike the guns on Hill 918. After the attack on the hill is completed, climb to altitude and preform CAP duties over Ormoc Bay area.
