Title: trouble
Post by: _AH_Col._Hogan on February 03, 2009, 04:19:43 PM
Can't turn on the monitor, the power button is inset to the frame. Looks like it is stuck in the "pushed in" position.

Might miss the sortie tonight.

Dell 24"LCD,

Can you try prying it out without pulling the button off?

In rare circumstances "Man Rules" are superseded by a higher law of physics.....

Stuck - WD-40
Loose - Duct Tape

For this: ==>  Try the Duct Tape <==

I would suggest unplugging the monitor first, then use a spray bottle and use some rubbing alcohol. While trying to work the button free.

Don't be afraid to use too much rubbing alcohol, it will evaporate. Just make sure it sets for a while before applying power.
