Well it's finally done. We now have water again. I know I didn't say too much on this but we've had no running water for the past 6 days.
For those on city water you'll probably never go through that unless some clown breaks a water main or some natural disaster strikes. For those like me who live in the boonies we rely on a well. Our pump fried out due to one side of the 230v wiring shorting out. We couldn't get a well lift truck in here until today so we relied on 1 gallon jugs being filled at a neighbors place. Since we've gone though this once before 4 yrs ago we learned a valuable lesson in keeping empty containers.

Anyways sure felt good to take a nice L O N G hot shower again. My flying may stink but at least I'm clean  :thinking-008:

Not sure how far the neighbor is but when I had this problem we ran hoses between us hooking them from outside faucet to outside faucet.  Worked slick!

Na wouldn't have worked even if we strung together some 650' of hose. His pump coupled with only garden hoses wouldn't have supported the pressure or volume needed.
