Windows 8.0

~S~ Gang, I thought I'd share my thoughts on my new O/S, Windows 8.

Pros:
Fast
Stable ( one of the most stable O/Ss I used so far )
Compatable with most if not all of my software AND hardware.
Over all look, its defferant.

Cons:
Needlessly over complicated to give it a freash look.
What used to take 1 click now take 2 or 3 on 3 or 4 menus.
Overly Automated.

Over all thoughts:
Its ok, could of had a little better planning as far as navagation, but, could have been worse I guess.
If your not running from the "new" Desktop which DOES NOT have a Start Button, youll notice the Close App. "X" on the upper right of your window, isnt ther anymore. In other words, closing app is more complex and its easy to have alot of stuff running in the back ground without knowing it.
The new "Start" screen, I dont like it. I guess if you had a Touch Monitor it would be ok, but,,,,,,,,,,.

Windows 8, its ok I guess, needlessly complex but ok.

Doesn't 8.1 have an option to run a 'standard' desktop?

Kinda like in XP Zulu, there is a button, (setting) where you can turn it into "classic windows view".
