Foxbat Here are the shots of our local Spit. Ain't she purty... 

I was fortunate to meet the owner and talk with him for a bit.  This is a complete build from offical supermarine prints. He could not find an airframe to start with so he fabricated the whole plane. It is to scale and correct. His one concession was the Allison from a P38/J. He was unable to locate a Rolls for it. I was able to get touch close for these shots.  was tough to due I kept fogging the lens... :happy-016:

Great pics Bong!

This is the first time I've seen an Allison powered Spit. Cosidering the more powerful power plant and the lack of gun mountings and all the wieght penalties that go with it the thing must go like a rocket!
