This is something Ive found at virtual aces website..... it is not attached t o headset.... http://facetracknoir.sourceforge.net/home/default.htm   FacetracknoIR......check it out .... Im very curious as to its effectiveness... but it has been used with IL2 1946

Ive used the FreeTrack WITH IR in IL2 for sometime. I only used the 1 LED setup becouse it had less issues with the build. I was using a Logijunk opps Logitech Eyeball webcam. I had no problems locating and removeing the IR filter from the cam as instructed and it didnt really effect the cam in normel use. All in all, it was very effective after you tweacked it abit. Dont get me wrong though, Track IR is far better than the FreeTrack. FreeTrack can be alittle bit of a pain from time to time, dont really know why but it can be.
