This site is pretty cool. Click "Fighters" under the "World War II" heading, then select the a/c you want on the left side and lastly the nationality in the middle. They have page after page of a/c profiles, it's a great source for ideas.

S~. sure is a lot of stuff there.. i don't even skin planes and i was pleasantly surprised ... you can even get your very own perfect russian woman there.. by clicking up near the top. o.. it did take a while to load pages, but i think it's on accounta there's so much stuff there. .. just thought it was worth mentioning.. it will load.. just give it a bit.

It's 8th AF fighter stuff, some nice info and squadron logos and what not. But if you click on the group color beside the name it sends you a gallery of images from that group, along with some nice color profiles.

Mark Styling has done colour plates for many of Osprey's Aircraft of the Aces series. There's alot of nice images here. Site scrolls a little herky jerky for me though. :thinking-008:
