S! chaps, here's the briefing for tommorow.

We'll have 5 of each a/c type, P-40, P-39, P-38 and A-20. All aircraft will be operating in one group with the P-38s and A-20s doing ground attack, the P-40s and P-39s will escort. Flight slotting order will be A-B-C-D.

P-38s and A-20s will carry all they can for ground attack. P-40s will carry 1000 pounders while the P-39s carry FAB 250s. The escorts will join in the ground attack if they can but they're primary goal is escort. P-39s will be the first to drop bombs if enemy aircraft are encountered, P-40s will try and keep the 1000s if possible.

All aircraft will takeoff and head for G-4 keypad 1. This is the rally point, we will not proceed until all flights have arrived. As flights arrive they are to orbit within keypad 1 of G-4. Keep the orbit tight, it makes it easier to see when everyone is there. Once together we will proceed on the waypoints to WP #5 in the area of G-8 keypad 4. The primary target for the P-38s is the bridge just west of Posada. Once it's down you can proceed to engage any ground targets in the area, expect them to be mainly north of the bridge but few may be south of it. A-20s will go right for the ground targets. Ground targets will run the gamut, you can expect tanks, trucks, mobile AA guns and possibly some fixed AA emplacements. Do as much damage as you can, I encourage the ground pounding flights to do as much strafing as possible.

The enemy city of Siniscola just south of the target area has no flak, there are only a couple of friendly trucks in it at the moment with some shermans moving up towards it from the south.

At mission start there will be no enemy units south of the river, but some might cross before we get there. Ground pounders should make those a priortity.

Return waypoints route us over Dorgali and it's friendly flak batteries.
