Some missions I would like to see:

 - Night raid over Peenemunde (Germany's Cape Canaveral during WWII).

-  Daylight high altitude bombing run over Berlin, w fighter escorts

-  1000 bomber raid over the Falais Gap (sp?) ( have a late friend who flew that one in B-17). He finally told me about it before he passed away.  Said it was the only time he ever felt sorry for the Germans.

- long range b-29 mission  to Toykyo, with P-51 escorts. We could airstart 1/2 way there?

~S~ The mission I would like to see would be one, either bomber or fighter or both, where there would be some semblence of a formation. Bombers as close as poss. allowing for PC lag and fighters in 4 plane groups (two leads with their wingmen) and 1500 ft. above and behind the LEVEL bomber group.
I think the hot sticks (they know how they are) should set the example in this and at the same time teach the rest of us how it is done. My 2 cents is now spent.

Schweinfurt raids....B-17's and 51's.... just started reading a book on the bombing raids now....looks like an awesome idea for a mision or two... anyone else familiar with Schweinfurt raids?  I can give specific details in a bit when I get into the book, this one has some cool possibilities!

Well, you're in luck; I'm planning a "Mighty Eighth" campaign, which will bring LOTS of level bombing for all of you wanting some.

I will need help, however, on finding maps to use.
