AH-Light Speed relay/obstacle

Teams will be created this way:

1st and 8th place.............team #1
2nd and 7th place...........team #2
3rd and 6th place.............team #3
4th and 5th place.............team #4

Heat #1.. 2 LAPS...1 Lap per team mate
Heat #2.. 4 Laps..2 Laps per team mate
Heat #3.. 6 Laps..3 Laps per team mate

Each team will pick a member to run a 1 lap race for his team.

1st place winner of the 1 lap race will get first pick on the starting grid for his team.
2nd place team gets second choice...etc.

Each team will line up on the grid with the lower place first
and the higher behind eg;  7th place then 2nd place.
This will apply for all three heats.

Once the first team member crosses the finish line on the final lap of
each heat the second team member takes off.

Should the first team member crash the surviving member must complete his team mates laps.
eg ;  team #3 .....6th place crashes on lap 2 of 3. 3rd place team member must complete lap 2 and 3 for his team mate and his own laps as well. This would equal a total of 5 laps for 3rd place member.
                                             
Surviving member may take off upon team mates crash.

All points will be awarded as usual. Both team members will be awarded points as individuals...eg; team #4 finishes 1st. Both members will be awarded 1st place points.
Should both team members crash the usual scoring system will apply.
Should one team mate crash and his team mate finishes, both team mates will be awarded the finishing team mates place.
This will be the final race.

Congrats to the podium finishers for the season, that is pretty crazy close for 2nd-4th. Even 2nd to 6th is dang close. Let me add my thanks to Fragg for the work put into administering this season and making it happen.
