It was another exciting hour of racing!

11 Racers lined up for the first heat and quite possibly more finishers than we've ever had in one night of racing. Lots of clean tight racing thrills.

Slow doesn't mean boring though.. The Plane and Track combination should offer some interesting challenges for the racers.

Track: The Beaver
Plane: Swordfish
Laps: 2, 3, 4
Small hills.

Races will start at 8 pm EDT on Apr. 23.
Practice track will be open for online warm up laps about an hour before the race.

Sorry for the delay in getting this posted.. But it's here now..

Race #3 was ...umm... Challenging! Excellent Sportsmanship from All Racers. The combination of Plane and Track made it difficult to pass, and there were more DNF's last night then we've seen in a long time, but everyone carried on and kept it fun. Well Done, Racers.

Flat, Fast and Twisty. Should be a very different type of race than race #3 was.

Race 4 will be Apr. 30 at 8 pm EDT. Practice track will be open about an hour before that for online warm up laps.

It was a tough night of racing for the 11 race pilots that started. A tight starting grid, a twisty track, and a plane that needed to be wrestled into the turns made for more than the usual number of difficulties getting around to the finish line, but it made up for it with more laughs than a keep it full throttle and hope the other guy makes a mistake track.

Track: Black Out Downs
Plane: KI 84 b
Laps: 2,3,4
Fast Course with a few straights, an interesting mix of turns including a hairpin, and a few hills. Should make for some interesting passing opportunities.

The Plane for Race #6 will be the La7 3x20.

Great night of Racing last night. As expected, the course offered lots of passing opportunities and it made for some really fun and tight flying. Also as expected, the hairpin turn took its toll on a few planes.

Track: What's My Line
Plane: LA 7
Laps: 1,2,3

Perhaps the most challenging track we race on. Lots of Hills and Lots of Turns, and somewhat unique feature.. The finish line is at a 90 degree angle to the Starting line.

Twisted I was thinking about that exact thing at work today, you could always list the years and spring fall under the one trophy. Just a thought I know all of us racers want to see a trophy for each win. ~S~
