I think DW also got a tank. It was either a tank or some other type of vehicle armed with a gun. He stroffed it soon after Skat landed. It was next to the tower near Skat's parking spot.
Yeah I thought I whacked about 4 tanks plus maybe an artillery. I did'nt record a track to check.

I thought we discussed this I bailed out but was captured at the base we landded at with a AAA and a 109 kill. The 109 I killed came down on me and took out my horizontal stabilizer.
yes i watched that Lippy.. but the base was still not ours at that time.. .. ill watch it again but just because we discussed not being captured at the enemy base doesn't mean you cant be shot down or captured if your shot down too soon.. again.. ill look once more and if i feel you did well ill make changes on the board.,.

After reviewing the track I watched Lippy make an initial attack and took out a AAA... great shot.. second attack he shot at and chased an enemy plane and there was a collision knocking his tail section off and he bailed out at 15 minutes into the track. Not a few moments more Hogan crash landed on the runway.
Its my determination that both pilots were captured as the base was still in enemy control although somewhat slightly assaulted. It wasn't until 28 minutes into the track when the Tempests came over to assist in the attack. Although captured Lippy and Hogan were returned because after smelling Lippy they thought they wouldn't taste very good...

TD i watched it twice cuz i couldn't believe what i seen the 1st time .,.. yes you did get a kill, but later, as you shot at an enemy plane and pulled up a friendly F4U AI shot at the same plane and blew you up.. the thing is .. like most campaigns, if you dont survive you dont score points..

I saw TD go down and couldn't figure out why.. Once Skat landed and suddenly got shot at I figured it must've been that same ground gun/ tank that got him..but a friendly AI? Of all the rotten luck. :sad-056:

I don't think the blame is the person doing the scoring,it is in the game. There have been many times I knew I killed or destroyed a target but didn't get credit for it. I dropped bombs and rockets on targets last night and saw the planes blow-up but didn't get credit for them. That's just the way it is I guess.

It's one thing if you were the only one to attack an aircraft and it went down and you did'nt get credit, thats very clear cut. If you're finishing off aircraft that are already heavily damaged its quite possible the damage you did was insignifiant compared that inflicted by the other player and it gave them full credit. Just the way shared kills go sometimes, or don't go.

The way shared kills are recorded in the stats is the points are split between players but it registers 1 air kill for each player. So if two guys share a kill it gets recorded as 1 kill for each pilot.

I watched the track and thats how i got the scoring.... however to be certain you would have to watch each player as an individual, which would mean watching the track 24 times if theres 24 ppl and im not about to do that .. hahha.. in fact, i would like to impose on either DW or Hollywood if they would like to assist me in keeping the scoreboard updated.. I would certainly appreciate it.

In every campaign I've built and run, the kills the game gives credit for have always been the final. I was never willing (or had the time) to review the tracks when pilots questioned their kills. What the game gave is what was used as the official record. I thought I'd get 4 kills last night. It didn't happen. Oh well...
I think the A-20s and B-25s went offensive and got after those He-111s you shot, Jack. There was definitely bomber on bomber action going on when me and SKAT reached the cotentin peninsula.

I do like having a good wingman. It's the reason I ever make it through any mission alive. I wish I could remember their names though.
There's this one guy that wings with me pretty regularly. He hates flying through clouds, he lets me know whenever I get close to one, but he's a real good wingman. He snores a little sometimes, too. Seems to fall asleep in the ready room and starts sawin' logs - but he's a real good wingman.
If I had to bet I'd bet i'll be winging in the F5F with the guy I've been talking about next mission.

I talked today with the guys who built my last 3 PC's and my sound prob's is in this old,old head set I have. When I plug it in...all sound...speakers and head set go away. Will have new head set by next mission(I hope)

I need to review the track one more time.. looks like Bear had good bomb drops that were not reflected on the scoring....

Not sure what you hit and what kawilder hit, originally I thought there might have been other targets, but it appears to solely be an attack on the airfield.
Dang, I'm starting to die just a little to much. Got to improve that.

I hit 2 flights of Me323s on the ground with those "factory "target things.. the red disks of death.. they somehow enhance scoring if you get all within there range.. i think..
I got a whole bunch of stuff as well and landed safely.
About five minutes later an AI killed me after landing.
