~S~ Welcome to Bears Campaign.
Campaign #8
There are no claims to factual events in this campaign it has been made for your enjoyment. We will fly a variety of aircraft throughout this campaign, something different in each endeavor.

We lost Tricqueville as it was over taken by enemy fighters in mission 7

F4Us (# 13,14,15,16) off the Essex will be escorted by the Seafires and head east towards Dieppe (AT16/8) for ground assault, target vehicles, ship and aircraft.

F4Us off the Boxer will be escorted by the F6Fs and head towards the city of Rouen (AT13/6) , look for trains, convoys and aircraft.

P-38s and P-51s will loadout with bombs and roskets to retake Tricqueville and assist at Rouen if able.

Bear,

Is it safe to assume the following:

Quote4- F4U-1C, 1945        C                   Ground attack                              Group Leader, Archie            - Pilots,
4- Seafire F III, 1943  C                   Escort                                           Group Leader, Wilder          - Pilots, Lippy,
These two flights head to Dieppe?

Quote4- P-51D 30NA, 1944                     Air defense/ground attack             Group Leader, Hollywood            - Pilots, Darkwing, Z50,
4- P-38L Late, 1944                        Air defense /ground attack            Group Leader, Fraggman            - Pilots, Col.Hogan, Gator, Sandhog.
4- F6F-5, 1944     C                        Escort/ground attack                     Group Leader, Jack          -Pilots,
4- F4U-1C, 1945   C                       Ground attack                                Group Leader, SKAT             -Pilots, BBQ, Taildrag, Turbo.
These flights head to Rouen?

Do the 38s and 51s take off from LaHavre?

Do we have grids for the two carriers?

Are A/C landing at LaHavre or their respective carriers?

Thank you...

Lastly, is anyone able to print this Channel Map in a PDF format and put it on drop box?

Yes, carriers are just North AO10 of LeHavre, there is a strike at Tricqueville before Rouen.

Brief says 51s and 38s to Triqueville and assist Rouen if able. So sounds like Rouen is a secondary target for us.

I don't know about a pdf but one could create a mosaic of screenshots to create a big single image of the map. The only problem is how big it would have to be to achieve a good level of detail. As has been noted you have to zoom quite a bit to see town names.

Actually, looking at the FMB it is'nt too terribly large at that zoom level. I'll create the big image later.

Well it would appear that I was able to get the day off.. So let's start at the normal time... thank you all for understanding and accommodation. 9PM Eastern / 6PM Pacific

It's cute when that little light above DW's head turns on and makes that "ding" sound.
