As you know you guys are currently flying in Operation Husky (The Sicily Campaign). I have another completed campaign awaiting the conclusion of the current one. However, I have nothing left after that one. I've been fiddling around with another idea, but I wanted to know if any of you guys have an idea for a campaign you would like to see.
If you do please respond to this post or send me a PM, either works for me. SO... , you guys put on your thinking caps and let me know what map area you would like to fly. :)
If there is someone else who would like to tackle a campaign, bring it on !!! I don't want to seem like I'm hogging the campaign mission building process. I know that our group has quite a few mission builders and I would encourage you to let your mission building talents show. :)
Sounds like you already have like a year+ worth of campaign stuff. I would say chillax and take a load off, worry aboot it later!

Hogan,
Did some research on your ideas this morning and found that HSFX does not have the proper maps to make these areas as viable campaigns. The 4.13.4 version of the sim does have the maps, but that would require our group to change their current version of the sim.
The current New Guinea maps in HSFX are very limited in that area of operations. It's not to say that I couldn't build something, but it would be a short campaign, roughly 10-12 missions altogether.

Bear, KW & Wood,
Thanks for your ideas ... I'm looking into a campaign project (tentitively) that would include the "Heavies (17's & 24's)" in quite a few of the missions as well as "mediums (20's & 25's)" as well. The idea will also incorperate the use of "fighter bombers (P-47's)". :)

In the missions with "Heavies (17's & 24's) I'm looking at the highest altitude that can be gained in route to the target area, at least 20,000 ft or more for the longer missions.

Thanks Fragg for the idea. I've come up with a plan and it's in the works. :) But your idea is very interesting and the group may see something along those lines in the future. :)
