Aces High

            Hi Guys - the Dropbox link has been updated to reflect the Version 2 Skinpack as of 12 July 2019

            This is in parallel to my other thread , but I don't think everyone was aware of it there.

            In thanks for the hospitality that all you Aces High members have shown me ( and other regular guests ) ,
            I have fashioned a set of personal skins for Ostfront Bf109Fs, intended for use in Fall Blau Missions flown Monday evenings.
            I have marked them according to Luftwaffe doctrine of the time , so command staff have symbols , rather than numbers ,
            and Staffel leads have a horizontally mounted chevron followed by a 1 in the staffel colours.
            Luftwaffe doctrine directed staffel colours as follows :
            Staffel 1   Weiss ( White )
            Staffel 2   Rot ( Red )
            Staffel 3   Gelb ( Yellow )
            Staffel 4   ( in our case regular guests ) Blau  ( Blue )

            The paintschemes are the same aircraft to aircraft - only the numbers and symbols differ.
            Consider this release a prototype , and if you wish to have more personal additions ( kill markings , wear and tear ,
            fluid leaks , paint chips , dirt streaks etc ) to the skin I can oblige ,
            or one of the more experienced skinners among you  ( DW and Dave ??? ) can feel free to modify them as
            you wish. If anyone wishes to work from the same template I did , I will be happy to forward it to the skinner they
            would like to do the work.

            I asked for preferred numbers in the other thread , and only got two responses , so these have been honoured ,
            otherwise I randomly assigned numbers between 2 and 36.

Stupid question, will these skins work in all 109F's?

Have a question though, I see the squadron leaders are <1 with most of the rest as #s but me and Jack are little different with <o and <oI. What do mine and Jack's markings denote? I'm totally unfamiliar with german aircraft codes.

Yes. It will fit all FBf109F models.
I will be issuing V2 soon - DW pointed out an error that has now been corrected.
The man responsible has been shot.
The other skin painters are now highly motivated.

Are there any thoughts on how to dress up these prototypes ?

Kopf we enjoy flying the skins that they flew for the Camp. If nothing else Historical Skins work for me. Just my 2 cents.  :happy-112:
