Win 10 Bear yes.

Two things. Are you looking for monitor to go into sleep or your computer?

I'm off and can go to my computer in a moment.

QuoteSleep

This uses very little power, your PC starts up faster, and you're instantly back to where you left off. You don't have to worry that you'll lose your work because of your battery draining, because Windows automatically saves all your work and turns off the PC if the battery is too low. Use sleep when you're going to be away from your PC for just a little while—like when you're taking a coffee break.

For a lot of PCs (especially laptops and tablets), your PC goes to sleep when you close your lid or press the power button.

To make your PC sleep:

Open power options:

For Windows 10, select Start , then select Settings  > System  > Power & sleep  > Additional power settings.

For Windows 8.1 / Windows RT 8.1, swipe in from the edge of the screen, tap Search (or if you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search), enter Power options in the search box, and then tap or click Power options.

For Windows 7, click the Startbutton  Start button icon, click Control Panel, click System and Security, and then click Power Options.

Do one of the following:

If you're using a desktop, tablet, or laptop, select Choose what the power buttons do. Next to When I press the power button, select Sleep, and then select Save changes.

If you're using only a laptop, select Choose what closing the lid does. Next to When I close the lid, select Sleep, and then select Save changes.

When you're ready to make your PC sleep, just press the power button on your desktop, tablet, or laptop, or close your laptop's lid.

On most PCs, you can resume working by pressing your PC's power button. However, not all PCs are the same. You might be able to wake it by pressing any key on the keyboard, clicking a mouse button, or opening the lid on a laptop. Check the documentation that came with your computer or go to the manufacturer's website.

You can Stop it, but it's a Windows update  service component. With it stopped you won't get windows updates. I wouldn't remove it.
What kind of problem is it causing? Is it waking your computer up from sleep mode?  I had that problem for a while, didn't really care and it went away with a recent update.

When I've had  problems with windows 10 I couldn't fix,  I've had good luck going to the microsoft  windows 10 help page and let their virtual help agent  run, then  ask to speak to a live person.  They have  microsoft techs that'll  log into your computer and  fix it.
I tell them the problem has been happening since the last update and they say my warranty covers it so no charge. Don't know where the warranty came from, but as long as they say no charge, I've let them log in.  The downside is  that it takes about an hour altogether between the 10 minutes with the virtual help thing, then text chatting with the live tech,  then waiting for that tech to  fix it.

Right now I have no idea what  problem you're having, only that the mousocore is causing an issue. If you're able to explain what the issue is they'll be able to help you.   The microsoft virtual  help agent is pretty easy to use.  It'll walk you through some trouble shooting steps and ask after each step if that fixed it and at the end, when it's still not fixed, you can text or click on "speak to a live person". and it'll connect you to a tech you can text with. If you're able to explain what problem you're having, they'll remote into your computer and try to fix it.
I've used that method three times since windows 10 came out.. first two they fixed by remoting in. Third time the guy remoted in, but was stumped and sent me a windows 10 install disc.  Never asked for any money. I think mostly because I always told  them the problem started after the last update.
I think the last time i used it, I didn't even try the steps the virtual assistant  program told me to try.. I just answered yes, i did that step, and no each time it asked if that step fixed it, then got connected to a live tech.      Here's a link to the virtual agent.  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contact/virtual-agent/?flowId=smc-contactus&partnerId=smc&referrer=support.microsoft.com

If that doesn't work try this one: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus   then click on  "Open Get Help app"   it should take you to the virtual assistant.  That's the first step of getting a live tech to remote in for free.

Try this:

Go to:  Start, Settings, Update and Security, View optional updates, Windows Updates,  Uncheck Feature update to Windows 10.

You'll still get security updates, but not the feature updates, and  should fix your problem.
you'll want to remember to return there  once in a while to check for driver updates.

(They made the feature and driver updates optional because those are the updates that cause a lot of problems when Windows updates run.)

Don't know what else to try, except the "Get help"  feature embedded in Windows 10.. It's the same app that I posted links to earlier, the online virtual assistant.  The problem I was having was very similar, but I've always had my auto sleep set to never.  I'd click on sleep and very often it would wake itself up at random times. Sometimes  almost right away, other times it might sleep for hours.  It fixed itself a couple months ago.  I'm guessing it was a regular, not optional Windows update.
that fixed my problem. Seems like an easy enough fix to not use auto sleep, but if you need auto sleep, the virtual assistant, then letting a microsoft tech log in to fix it is probably the fastest way to get it done.

I'm currently showing: Windows 10 Home
                                     Version: 2004
                                     OS build 19041.685
Experience                    Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

Info above is from the Windows Update window you get to after Clicking Start,  Settings, Update & Security, Windows Update, and scrolling down to Related links and clicking on  "OS build info", then Scrolling down to Windows specifications.  You can scroll down further from there and click on "Get Help" to launch the Virtual Assistant if you want.  If not, then I'd make a Back up, then start looking for driver updates,   then, as a near last resort, running a windows repair,  and as a  last resort, then  BIOS updates, but only update the BIOS if the update specifically mentions  fixing the problem you're having.
