Beta P-51A version 1.0 available at SAS

The Aviator Mod Team presents the P-51A!







The P-51A Mustang was ordered in numbers of 1,200 by the U.S. Army in August 1942. No ground attack here, no dive brakes, just a pure fighter. This was the best fighter the U.S. had below 22,000 feet. This first variant of the famous P-51 Mustang encorporated an Allison V-12 engine which had a single stage supercharger. This meant that at high altitudes it suffered from a lack of power. However it had exceptional performance at low altitude compared to other fighters of it's time.

This mod has really been a team effort with everyone chipping in for little bits here and there so many thanks to all those involved. I know you guys will ask about this so I shall state now that several other versions will also be made and for those who are interested they are: Mustang MkI, Mustang MkIa and A-36A Apache.

Known bugs:
We are aware of a few minor bugs with the 3D and haven't yet been able to fix it. Hopefully these bugs will be fixed in later releases.

Readme is included in the download. You can find all the file entries there. You will not need a new buttons file as this uses DiffFM. Skins are also included.

To check if you have DiffFM search your MODS folder for this file "294ABC86A89FAEB4". If you don't have that file then please go and download it via the thread above.
