AH and Mission Paint Schemes.

S! folks, where can I get my hands on the AH skins of the aircraft and mission aircraft we fly. Basically I am using default skins,
and would really like some variety. I see the skins you all use for missions, but can't find a place to download them from. Also, any chance
I can get any personal skins etc for what ever aircraft of choice or what we fly. thank you.

There are some skins avaliable in the "Paint Schemes Downloads" section of the forum.

There are also a variety of sites where you can find skins to download:

I think those are the main ones.

We also have many skinners in the squad who might be able to help you if you have any specific requests.

Rgr that DW, but I really don't want to fly other outfit skins. Just the AH made ones or skins made for missions by AH folks. But thanks. :)

S! DW, I am trying to download those skins you have in the paint scheme download posts but allot of the links so far are dead links for me.

The URLs were fine, but for some reason there was some extra crap in the forum url thing that makes it a clickable link. They should be all fixed now.

The skins you will find on those other sites are not other online squadron's skins, but historical skins for the most part. There are not alot of general AH squad skins, most of what people have are personalized for them specifically. The blank packs I make have historical group and squadron markings though generally not codes or serials. Most of them just have the AH cards logo on one side of the nose. The "P-47 skins" and "Checkertail Skins" are all personalized ones.

Who can do what for you really depends. I've skinned a variety of planes but nothing axis. Gonzo I think has skinned alot of german and japanese types. If you're into those 2048 high res mods I think Auto is the only one we have who has dabbled in skinning for that. There are others too who have done different things over the years. Just ask around and I'm sure someone will help you out.
