It's a .PSD file so you would need a paint program that is capable of dealing with them. I use Corel Photo-Paint 8 and Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3. I think there is a free paint program out there called GIMP but I've never used that.

If you're not familiar with skinning using templates I could try and help you out if you just want your face on a pilot skin or something.
