Distinguished Flying Cross with "V" Device - Ace in a Day, Missions 25 and 36

Meritorious Unit Citation - During Mission 21 as part of a combined force of HQ and 2nd Squadron pilots including Hogan, Archie, Hollywood, Gatlingun, Olds, SKATtrash and Jetdoc, these pilots flew to Sicily and in an excellent display of teamwork and airmanship proceeded to inflict considerable damage, destroying 21 ground targets between them as well as 4 aircraft in the air.

Meritorious Service Medal - For keeping things on schedule in terms of launch times and excellent handling of his administrative duties.

Purple Heart - While several miles off shore Hogan ran out of fuel from bullet hole leaks and massive hits to the engine. Using only rudder and elevator trim, he was able glide to his home field and dead-stick land on the main runway wheels down with no further damage to his aircraft. Truly an incredible demonstration of pilot skills.

He's an invaluable resource not only to noobs like his wingman but also to Aces High as a whole.

Their constant desire to improve their flying skills and Combat Skills is demonstrated each and every time they fly. I know no finer Pilots deserving of this medal.

Purple Heart - During Mission 9 this pilot made a perfect dead stick landing after running out of fuel.

Purple Toe - During Mission 13, this pilot flew the mission with the ready screen blocking most of his view. Despite this handicap he still managed to destroy an enemy aircraft.

Distinguished Service Cross - For his selfless acts that go above and beyond the call of duty I nominate him for the top award, Distinguished Service Cross. I know it says multitude of small events does not justify this. But his tireless acts of courage while under fire and placing himself in harms way for the protection of his squadron, His constant vigilance and situation awareness, for hosting all of these events; the Campaigns, FNF's, COOP. Always there to lift others spirits with his barrage of jokes.

Meritorious Service Medal - For his Commanding the Dirty Third while Lippy was out of service on leave for 6 weeks.

Combat Readiness Medal with "V" Device - During Mission 5, this pilot stepped up to lead his squadron in the absence of Lippy when no one else would.

Legion of Merit - For the heroic acts of courage while under fire, they place their squadron above themselves and go above and beyond the call of duty
and assist others at their own peril. Their constant desire to improve their flying skills and Combat Skills is demonstrated each and every time they fly. I know no finer Pilots deserving of this medal.
