Ok.. here its starts... Tuesday Sept 6th 2016

There are no claims to factual events in this campaign it has been made for your enjoyment. We will fly a variety of aircraft throughout this campaign, something different in each endeavor.

Today, we begin our task with regaining a foothold in France to start a push against the Germans.

The B17's left Biggen Hill airport (you will be airstart) about 30 minutes ago and will rendezvous with the P51 escorts at the western tip of Newport Island. They will fly between 12,000 and 15,000 ft and bomb the runways at Guernsey and Jersey Island.
F-80C Shooting Stars will assist P51 escorts.

P38s and Tempests, your job is to attack both airports east and west of Cherbourg. Its imperative that these runways are clear of Flak and AAA as these bases are where we intend to land and take over.
P51's, when the B17's are clear, assist the P38s and Tempest's attack.
All aircraft will be landing at these airbases.
We have a fleet inbound to that area, and aircraft carrier will launch support aircraft when it get close.

Please make posts regarding your choice of aircraft and state if you wish to be group leader.
Leaders so far are taken from what I believed to be requests from the other post, if Im mistaken please clarify in this thread.

I thought we messed with something years ago that did that, but it might have involved ground vehicles. I had never used it myself. I just wondered if thats what you meant by base takeover.

    I will fly anything that Bear and BBQ fly but, I like to fly it if it is painted Marine Blue.
