I'll go with a Beaufighter.

Looks like our target area is Calais. The shape of Calais's harbour with the various breakwaters and piers does'nt look conducive to torpedo attack. Brief says "at or around AX24" so maybe there will be sufficient targets in open water but in case there is'nt, some of us might want to carry bombs in place of torpenae.

Lol.,... is that kinda like selective hearing... clearly does say torpedo run... Id take torpedos and rockets myself... up to you tho...

Its too bad the bombs and torps are the way they are .. bombs go 1st the the torp.. with rockets at least you have a few vollys... :happy-112:

Yup, Torps and Rockets. Think that's what we'll go with. Depending on  just how many Beaufighters we end up with.

No, I just did not see this before :

"Beaufighters will load out for torpedo attack on ships, take out the escorting ships and claim the cargo ships booty."

Which is more specific and sounds a little different than :

"Beaufighters to soften German supply ships at or around AX24 and attack nearby airbase, Spitfires to escort."

Bear I thought i saw only one group of spits, I wanted to wing Hollywood I know I didnt specify but if there are no objections may be moved to wing woody. We can ask on Tuesday night to matter to me.
