I'm putting together another semi-historical mission (we don't have the correct map) for a Monday night coop.  I got a request for a bomber mission.  I posted a thread showing what I've done so far on building "Operation Tidal Wave - The Raid on Ploesti".

I never messed with any of the official patches beyond what we need for HSFX. Did Team Daidalos ever add the B-24D they were working on?

DW ... I don't know if they did, my plan was to use the only B-24 we currently have access too.  :)

S! Guys DW HSFX only have the B24j sir but if you want the B24D-140-CO 1942 you have to download the 413.4m_YPack_1.1.0 games. that if you want to fly the B24 Bomber, if you want the link, I can give it to you sir. so you can look at it that, if you want you look at it S! Gator

Its alright Gator, I was just wondering if they had ever gotten around to adding it. I had seen some WIP threads about it on the official forums years ago.

I've sent an "UPDATE" on my Operation Tidal Wave mission to Mission4Today. The update has new pic's of the Ploesti Oil Refinery area as well as the AAA I used and the map/ flight plan used.

As of last this morning (02:00 am Hawaiian local time) I finished the mission.  Total mission length is 1 hour.  So for those interested I can set it up to fly this Monday, Oct 9th for COOP Night. The mission has 16 pilot seats at this time, if more folks arrive to fly the mission I can quickly add planes and they will start via "Air-Start.  :)

Or they could just fly as gunners, B-24s have lots of nice gunner slots.

After doing some more research, P-38's were used.  So, I've put in 4ea P-38's.  Total pilot seats for this mission is now 20.  :)
