It doesn't have every second cowl flap painted either, though I've seen other aircraft from that group that lacked those. There are different interpretations of Dottie Mae in profiles and decal sheets and what not. Some have the red ID bands, some yellow. It could have to do with the exact time period too, maybe it represents the aircraft before those markings were adopted or maybe they fell out of use sometime before VE day. Be interesting to the know the reason.
