Actually, the cardinal rule is to push the a/c out of the hangar, facing away from the entrance before starting the engine.

~S~ re: The last picture. The round objects on the ground are graves like there were on Okinawa and where japs placed some guns. The natives had the keystone shape entrance to underground graves and they all faced away from the trade winds. In lower left corner you can see a gun inplacment.

I thought ya'll might enjoy this. Maybe it will give ya a better understanding what Rainbow Gathreing is and whats its all about. For those who dont know, this is what I do every year during the spring and into the summer and ending in the fall.
