Picked up a little boat for the lake

It's powered by two V-12 Allison P-38 engines, combined horse power is 2,200.

Not much, but it should get me to the other side.

All it needs are a few torpedo tubes and it could double as a PT boat.

Nice boat.  You could torpedo Nevada with that   - if you had torps like DW suggested.

"What the hell, let's see what happens"?  Me too.

Torpedo Nevada?  :thinking-008: Thats a new one.

Yep.  Lake Tahoe has the California/ Nevada state line running north to south through it.  It's also rather famous for the wood boats that go there.
Pretty sure that boat is one of them.  Now we know where Hogan goes when he disappears for a week or two at a time.

Oh ok, so its not as bizarre and random a reference as I thought it was. I was worried for a second. I thought maybe you were going senile. Well, more senile. I mean, senile to the point where it is starting to get kinda awkward. I was thinking of you when I was whipper snippering today, BB.

Yep, Tahoe.

The boat's name is Thunderbird.

Nice, nice boat indeed. From the look of the amount of wood on it. I think I'd call it, "No Smoking".

This will remind some of you of rough seas, it looks like it is 18 20 foot swells with an occasional 25 maybe 28 footer.

Only once for me we where in sea of about 10 12 footer the ships was moving in all directions and the chief thought I could go clean up the forward pump room. It has fuel oil in the bilges and no proper ventilation I lasted maybe 15 minutes and told the chief to bite me. In Port I had to clean the forward pump room LOL

Gonna take a wild guess, was the problem jammed flaps?  :thinking-008:
