That the Kamikaze attacks were just at dawn in the morning, just before sunset at early evening and midday. They were also at night. They would drop flares over the ships and then dive on them. This was a real problem and we did not have a defense against them. I have a copy of the Battle Log of the USS Intrepid CV-11 and these attacks were from 18 March to 16 April 1945.
I love my country..It's the government I'm afraid of.
