I'll fly whatever is left. Even a gunner seat is cool. I am just not sure if I'll be around always so put me on the list behind anybody who will definately be there. Its a great idea BTW.

We have met the minimum # of 16, so as of now the mission is "on!"

Note that, if nothing changes between now and Friday, we will need 1 of the "gunners" or "no preference" pilots to fly an A6M3.  The remainder will man P-38's.  Hopefully, we'll have a few more sign up by the end of tomorrow so the Bettys will have some additional protection.  If not, hey, Isoroku, "life's indeed a by_atch!"

I plan on e-mailing the mission briefs & parameters to each pilot Thursday morning, once the roster is finalized.

The common ROE ("Rules of Engagement") will be posted tomorrow.
