We took my younger son (20) to Lousiville today to board a plane for Air Force Boot Camp in Texas.  It was harder than I thought sending him off like that knowing he will never live in my house again.   Good thing is he scored a 93  on the entry exam and pretty much can pick his job.  He wants in the computer area.  He will have a good shot to pick his base in the mid-west where we can still see him from time to time.  With my oldest still teaching in Japan it never gets easy to have another leave the nest.

Sorry,

You should be very happy.  You have done your job well and the little ducklings can now fly on their own.  Wanna really be sad??  If one of them have to move back home...you'll really be sad.  Worked with a lotta guys that had that happen. They were really sad!

Congrats Pop!!

S! and congrats Raider! It's got to suck seeing 'em leave, but at least you know you've brought them up right.

S~. Good luck, little Raider.. and what Gonzo and Duff4r said..

At that awkward age where your brain has gone from " Probably shouldn't say that" to
"What the hell, let's see what happens"?  Me too.

Talk about literally flying from the nest...

Best of luck to you both. :)
