Headphone/mic

My left headphone is shorting out on me.  So i am off the the store to replace it.  I am looking for thoughts on wireless headphone/mics.  Are there any problems with going wireless?  Can you switch between speakers and headphones?

S~. I don't use wireless anything on accounta batteries going dead at the wrong time..

i switch between speakers and mini jack head set with a 15$ switch from radio shack.. not suitable for 5 or 7 speaker systems..just the speakers with one wire going to the sound card jack..

Hey Arch,
I was givin a set of USB headphones for christmas....if you have an extra port they are very handy to use...plus you can have your external speakers pluged in to your sound card setup. Switching back and forth is easy. Anyway that is an option...

Just ended up getting a USB Logitech.  The batteries going dead comment had me worried.
